Hi, my name is Jenny. I'm a Dalmatian. At least that's what my mommy says. I'm 12 years old and I've lived with my rescue mommy since 2006.
I used to live with people that didn't love me and neggle...negleg... didn't take good care of me.
I'm old and my tummy hurt real bad, but my mommy made sure that I had an operation to take out the parts in my tummy that made me sick. I feel soooo much better now!
My mommy said that I was a special girl and she wanted me for her very own. She brought me home with her so she could love me and take better (extra special) care of me.
Now I eat yummy food every day, my water doesn't have mud and big fat wiggly worms in it, I get my tummy rubbed every day, I get brushed (I love that part best) and I get lots of hugs and kisses from my mommy.
Did you know that spots on you arms and face are Angel kisses?! Mommy said that's how she knew I was so special. I have lots of angel kisses all over me! I'm sure glad my mommy knew all about angel kisses and wanted me for her very own.
Mommy taught me how to walk on my harness leash like a good girl (and that was really hard to learn cuz there's sooo many wunerful smells to smell! And there's other 4 legged friends outside! Wow, I never knew that!
I'm real good at it now. In fact, mommy thinks I'm so good at it, that when I come home I always get my special treat, real chicken jerky! Yum! That's my favorite treat, but I like carrots a lot too. Mommy thinks that's funny. Mommy says that some day when she plants another garden, she'll plant some carrots in a special spot...JUST FOR ME!
Mommy also taught me how to do great tricks. I beg, (well, I guess I already knew how to do that one all on my own. See, aren't I smart?) I can sit, and lay down, and speak, and shake hands and a whole lot of other tricks too. You can click on my picture to watch me do my tricks!
Mommy's favorite trick is when she puts a treat on my paw and I wait until she tells me that I can have it before I eat it. It's really hard, but I get extra kisses from mommy for that trick.
My birthday is in June. I never knew that, but my mommy looked up my birthday... and guess what? My mommy is going to give me my very first birthday party! oh, goodie, goodie! I can hardly wait!
