100 Things About Me...[as if]
1. I created this web site (my very first) as a distraction during a tremendously stressful time in my life.
2. I've worked 3 jobs at once while raising my children as a single parent.
3. One of my greatest joys is listening to my son play his guitar.
4. I have 3 children, 3 grandchildren (soon to be 4)
5. I love organic gardening.
6. I went up in a hot air balloon in '06 to face my fear of heights.
7. I really don't like cheatin' movies. 
8. I love to can my own vegetables, no veggie garden now.
9. I have a black Mazda Miata convertible.
10. I believe in what goes around comes around!
11. I love to organize.
12. I swam with dolphins in 2002.
13. I want to own a cabin in the woods.
14. I haven't played guitar in 9 years.
15. I'm not sure I'll be able to get off that last 20 lbs. (I gained weight after back surgery)
16. I worked in the dental field for almost 20 years.
17. I once had a precious Yorkie (my favorite dog) named Princess Priscilla Pounce-A-Lot
18. I'm a tummy sleeper but my bum spine interferes with me cuddling my pillow now.
19. I love to spend the day at the arboretum.
20. I want to visit Tuscany.
21. I made homemade jelly for the first time this year ('07) for Christmas presents.
22. I love to sketch, draw and create.
23. I used to teach ballroom and country & western dancing... but no longer.
24. I keep a notebook of short and long term life goals and a "No regrets list".
25. I love throwing parties, in particular... Oscar parties.
26. I have a butterfly tattoo.
27. I have a real hard time dealing with liars.
28. I take a blanket to the park to take a nap.
29. I love watching hummingbirds feed at my window.
30. I'm a big fan of live theatre…even community theatre.
31. I struggle to comprehend why people are destructive and mean to others.
32. I finally stopped drinking so much coffee throughout the day.
33. Menopause didn't really affect me that much, but it lasted about 9 years.
34. I love reality TV, especially AMERICAN IDOL.
35. I'd love to travel the globe if I could afford to.
36. My feet are always cold.
37. I love surprises!

39. I'm sort of a pack rat.  Ok, I am a pack rat.
40. I love to bake a lot of sweets, but I don't really eat them.
41. I'm an animal lover.
42. I didn't really date much in high school.
43. I know all the words to almost every song in the movie "Mary Poppins".
44. I have a large collection of Walt Disney movies.
 45. At one time in my life I mentored emotionally challenged adults.  Loved it!

46. I'm a "recovered" Southern Baptist. I now attend a non-denominational church (when I can).
47. I'm not fond of bugs or dirt, but love the outdoors and gardening. Go figure.
48. I'm not fond of writing letters.
49. As my health continues to fail, I'm afraid of the quality of my life deteriorating.
50. I'm not superstitious, but I knock on wood, avoid cracks, pick up pennies etc.
51. In my 20's-30's I ran 4 miles a day.
52. I've never met a celebrity... well, unless you consider Ty Pennington a celebrity.
53. At one point in my life, I was a volunteer rape crisis counselor.
54. While I love both, I enjoy baking more than cooking.
55. I used to sing in a quartette.
56. I love steaks on the grill.
57. I haven't cut my hair in over a year now.  Oops...that's changed now.  (7/08)
58. I love life…especially the little things that really matter.
59. I love just "doing" for others.
60. I don't care for Asian food.
61. I elected to be an organ donor.
62. I never went to college.  If allowed one regret, that would be it.
63. I graduated citizens police training academy in 1988.
64. My first job in high school was working in a card shop. I worked there exactly 1 day. (smile)
65. I didn't learn to drive until I was 21.
66. I started cheerleading in the 4th grade.
67. At one point in my life, I wanted to own a bermed home.  Actually, I still wouldn't mind owning one.
68. I stopped dating a guy once because he wouldn't even try to restrain his flatulence. Gross!!

69. After 35 years, I can still recite "The Wreck of The Hesperus" from memory.
70. I've been to Disneyland 5 times and Disney World once.
71. With the exception of less than 10 miles inside the Mexican and Canadian borders,
I've never traveled outside of the United States.

72. I didn't learn to scuba dive when I had the opportunity.
73. I believe that forgiveness breaks controlling ties.
74. I was once the chairman of my neighborhood crime watch organization.
75. I still own vinyl albums and cassettes.
76. Growing up, my mom and I would sit in her bedroom and sing Gospel Hymns. Good Times!
77. As a teenager my CB handle was "Sunshine".
78. My family calls me ... Sissy.
79. I want a ladybug tattoo on my toe, but I'll probably never do it. I'm Sissy.  (smile)
80. I love to read.
81. People see me as a strong woman, but I don't feel strong anymore.
82. My spine has prevented me from being as active as I'd like to.
83. My maternal grandmother lived to be 102.
84. My wisdom teeth never came in.
85. I'm not a big sports fan but enjoy live football.
86. I collect quotes.
87. I once owned a black mutt named... snowball.

88. I've purchased spices right out of the kitchen cabinet in estate sales.
89. When I was a little girl living in Hawaii, I apparently LOVED shoes because I'd come inside from playing and would always have strangers shoes on. I still love them, but don't wear stranger's shoes anymore. :-)
90. I plan to open an online store.
91. Occasionally, I still play jacks.
92. I don't remember dates, times and details like I once did.
93. I talk to my dog as if she were a human. :-)
94. I had a mystery date game when I was young.
95. I love having company in my home.
96. I was never afraid to go on a road trip by myself.
97. I'm obsessed with having fresh breath.
98. I'm a Gemini.
99. I cry at Hallmark commercials.
100. I love all the glittery, feathery, soft "girly things".
Wow, thank you so much...I'm flattered, but to be totally honest, I'm quite uncomfortable talking about myself... so I've decided to provide lists that will give you a little insight as to who Gammy is. [Yes, Gammy is what my grandchildren call me :-) ]
